Croatians in the public sector
Since 2007, the Luksic family has helped fund degree programs and executive education courses at the Harvard Kennedy School for people working in the Croatian public sector, providing an opportunity to enhance their understanding of the best practices in various fields of public policy. During this time, the Luksic family has also provided funding to HKS so that professors could deliver some of these programs on the ground in Croatia. In January 2019, a new tailor-made program specific to the digital transformation of public services was launched in Zagreb.
Candidates will be awarded scholarships and/or funding directly from the university to which they apply. The university is exclusively responsible for selection and admissions decisions, and does so at its complete discretion and, subject only to the eligibility conditions established by the respective program. The Luksic Scholars Foundation has no participation or influence in the application processes, admissions decisions, or awarding of scholarships.
Alen Rajko, 2009A combination of highly skilled lecturers, well balanced and relevant program, best practice examples and innovative approach toward public administration. That’s the core of my experience with the Executive Education about the 21st century governance, launched by the Luksic Fellowship. Mind opening and of practical use for an administrative (later administrative judiciary) professional like myself.”
