Political Outlook for the United States
Longtime diplomat Alex Wolff will analyze challenges that the Trump administration will have to address leading up to the November 2020 US presidential elections.
Topics to be discussed will include how the current solid economy could play well for the administration; repercussions of the Mueller Report and the New York federal prosecutor investigations into possible campaign-finance violations; the upsurge of Democratic candidates as Primary Season approaches; and several issues on international affairs:
The border wall – will it get built? Does it matter?
Trade with China – where will it lead?
North Korea containment – is it possible?
Alejandro D. Wolff served as US Ambassador to Chile (2010-2013) and to the United Nations (2005-2010).
